Say hello to my new favorite brand, Marine Layer! They just opened a new store location at the Summit Birmingham, in-between Anthropologie and J-Jill, and you’ve gotta go check it out! They are a San Fransisco based company that is totally fabric obsessed. I mean just feel how soft their clothes are and you’ll believe me. Ever have that ugh feeling when everyone is buying the same outfits as you?? Well, all of Marine Layer’s clothes are made in California in small batches so you don’t have to worry about everyone and anyone sporting the same threads as you! Hallelujah! Today I’m going to share with you two looks the girls and I at Marine layer put together!

First Look: 

This brand truly knows what it means to be comfy-cute, and if you are like me that is the BEST kind of style. I have been living in this outfit from the moment I put it on. No seriously. Ask anyone that has seen me this last week, they would have seen me in this exact outfit. From the extremely comfortable tee, to the joggers that feel like a second skin, and the bomber that goes with everything, this is one look you’ll have on repeat!

Fit note: When it comes to joggers I always ask, how do the pants hold up through the day?? Because I’ve worn these joggers multiple times, I can tell you they hold their shape extremely well! I am not a fan of joggers or any pants that stretch out to another size after you wear them. I can assure you these have amazing shape retention! They fit the same as the day I picked them out at the store!

Second Look:

Now marine Layer isn’t just casual looks, They have everything you need even looks to carry you from work to date night!

I had been searching for the perfect jersey dress for months and I finally found it! This dress by Marine Layer is so incredibly comfortable! The dress has a double layer of fabric to hug you in all the right places, but the arms only have a single layer of fabric which is perfect. The body is made with two layers of their pill-resistant MicroModal blend ( hello built-in Spanx).

The jacket I paired with the dress is a statement for sure! The great part about it is that it’s reversible! Why not get two jackets in one??! Scroll through for outfits links and sizing!
