Denim on denim

What’s better than a good deal on denim?! This past weekend my bestie Sara asked me to go shopping with her and of course I had to tag along! To my surprise, we found some incredible deals. First off I found two denim jackets at Gap for $17.99 each! I paired one of the jackets (pictured below) with a black denim skirt from Free People that is currently on sale for &29.99. Talk about some denim deals! Sara purchased the same denim skirt in a different wash (scroll through to see!).

I also want to brag on Scarlet and Gold Shop again. I am so excited about this shirt I recently purchased from a pop-up shop they had in Birmingham! It’s my favorite kind of graphic tee, simple and meaningful.

The T-shirt says Isaiah 40:31 which reads, “but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Another translation says, “But those who wait upon God get fresh strength.” This verse could not be more true in my life right now. For me there is few things harder than trusting and waiting on God’s timing. I always long to know exactly what He has planned for my life, but His word says trust in the wait. Trust in His time. Trust that He has you waiting for a reason. Trust in the season of growth. We can only take life day by day and strive to live our life for Him. The moment I stop worrying about tomorrow God finds a way to reassure me that letting go is what He wants me to do.
