First off, let me start out by saying sorry for being MIA lately! Exams were crazy and I’ve just now gotten a chance to get this post together. Also, I thought I would start a new series posting my favorite outfit(s) of the week! So be on the lookout for that!
For this look I mixed it up a little, as in a little pattern mixing. To do that I pieced together some of my favorite new items from Free People! I love this slip with the feminine floral pattern. I’ve been eyeing it for awhile and couldn’t wait to pair it wit this metallic mesh long skinny scarf! The floral slip was a little too see thru alone so I put another one of my Free People slips under neath, then topped it off with my favorite new addition to my wardrobe… Drum roll please…. The Window Pane Check Jacket! ♥
I love mixing two completely different patterns together and seeing how it turns out.
The floral pattern in the slip and the plaid, check pattern in the jacket mixed seamlessly. So next time you want to mix it up, try throwing in a different pattern!
